How Plays Are Chosen For the Provincial MAINSTAGE Festival.
The adjudicator, Mr Keith Digby is the selected adjudicator for the 2008 South Island Zone. Following the final performance, Mr Digby will announce his choice of 'Best Production' and other category awards to honour the achievements of participants. The competitive nature of these events is intended to encourage learning, as participants seek to improve their theatrical skills and enhance their chances of being selected to advance to MAINSTAGE.The 2008 Mainstage Event will be held at the 'Port Theatre' in Nanaimo July 4-12
